The place is just so-so. The attendant did not know the reservation prior. The water was very slow and when the heater is on, the power outlets don't work. The door knob was broken. I was told there will be two double beds but what we had was a double bed with a single pull out bed. The bonfire costs 250 pesos where they told us AFTER the bonfire. Free coffee though

Freundlicher Empfang, early Check-Inn wurde einfach gewährt, was hilfreich war bei Nutzung des Nachtbusses nach Sagada. Aber Schimmel an der Decke, Spinnenweben hinter der Zimmertüre, dreckige Fensterrahmen, über die Ameisenstraßen laufen, bedeutet eine geringe Sauberkeit. Die Badtüren müssen dringend repariert werden, damit sie besser schließen. Zum Frühstück gab es kostenlosen Kaffee und Wasser. Ansonsten kann man sich Ramen-Nudeln mit heißem Wasser aufgießen. Oder man brät sich selbst ein Ei und isst Joghurt. Dieses Frühstück ist aber nicht unbedingt jedermanns Geschmack. Wir hatten Biskuits dabei…

We spent 3 nights in the Bilza Lodge in Sagada. The place is new and some areas are still being constructed. The concept is very appealing once it will be fully operational. Bilza is located in a pine forest. In front of the main house is a big space with traditional Ifugao Mayoyao Huts. What struck a city dweller first is the fresh air and the pristine environment. Away from the town center but the latter can be reached easily in a 30 min refreshing walk. You feel very welcome by the friendly owner, the staff and in particular Korky the German Sheppard. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The showers have a water heater which is very much appreciated because the nights and the mornings are rather cool in Sagada. What is lacking are hocks or racks in the shower to hang towels and place other accessories one might need. The kitchen supplies the essential Filipino breakfast but the menu needs some add on for foreign travelers. A nice touch is the nightly bonfire, which, unfortunately we did not attend because we were too tired from the daily activities (thanks to our tour operator Travel Now Asia). All in all on our next trip to Sagada which hopefully will not be in a too distant future we will stay at Bilza Lodge again.

Newly opened lodge. Away from the crowds with ample parking. We had a nightly bonfire which they prepared for us. Our room had a veranda with the view of the mountains. Our room was kept clean. We also had a hot and cold shower. Slight problem with the toilet flush but they were able to fix it right away. They provided us extra blankets and towels (towels with extra charge). If you want to enjoy Sagada by foot and avoid the crowded inns and lodges in town. This is the best place to be. They area out 2 miles from town - great opportunity to stay active while on vacation. Surrounded by nature and cool Sagada breeze. At night you can almost see all the stars with the clear skies!! Staff was very accommodating and friendly. Definitely the best place to stay in Sagada.

Struttura spartana ma caratteristica in questo paesino di montagna. Abbiamo alloggiato nelle casetta, struttura on legno, bamboo e paglia..è stato davvero bello. Nella zona giardino c'è anche il salottino adibito a zona giorno, tutto all'aperto. La zona notte è soppalcata, si sale con una scaletta nella zona notte, molto confortevole con materassi appoggiati a terra. Davvero da provare
